| TEATRUL DOCUMENTAR ȘI RELAȚIA LUI CU ISTORIA TRĂITĂAlexandra FelseghiAbstract:The article discusses an overview of documentary theatre and its context in which it is created: its origins, its relationship with history, contemporary reality and society. It also questions the idea of objectivity and truth, as well as how they should be interpreted by the audience, but also by the artists. It is essential to establish a clear distinction between documentary theatre and other genres of dramatic writing, as it influences both the artistic act and its interpretation. Finally, the article sets the dramaturg’s role within the documentary theatre production, as a central role of the entire creative process. Keywords:documentary theatre, performing arts, ideology, propaganda, truth, Vergremdungseffekt, artist-audience relationship, dramaturgy |
