ÎNVĂȚĂMÂNTUL PE VALEA BÂRGĂULUI

Angelo Aurelian Manea

Abstract:
Education made in the spirit of preservation of the national spirit in Transylvania (more precisely in the Bângăului Valley), during the Habsburg period was possible due to the conjugation of common state policy efforts with the church, especially since there were discriminatory and nationalist elements promoted through Hungarian school legislation. Depending on the material support of the school, there were three types of elementary schools: state, communal and confessional. The establishment and operation of schools on the Bârgău Valley will positively influencethe evolution of life in this area by the appearance of a pleiad of Bârgău intellectuals, non-commissioned officers, officers, teachers, priests, lawyers, who will fully contribute to the intellectual and moral uplift of the villages here.
Keywords:
education, confessional schools, communal schools, education.
